United Way of Lea County aspires to the vision of Community Impact, in which a community of individuals, businesses, groups and institutions work together for the benefit of all Lea County residents. And there are so many ways to be involved.

When you give to United Way of Lea County, or one of our 15 allocated agencies, a local foundation matches your donation by 50%. That means your money is multiplied automatically, and every $2 donated turns into $3, every $20 donated turns into $30. You can make a greater impact in the community you live in by supporting your local United Way!

2020 United Way of Lea County Annual Campaign

The main fundraising drive, called “The Campaign,” aims to provide funding to a variety of agencies in the county spanning the goals of providing educational opportunities, health care assistance, and financial resources to families across Southeast New Mexico. This year, The Campaign raised a greater percentage of what local nonprofits asked for and more than what the United Way usually sees, despite the pandemic.
